Noël Perry, Economist in Freight Transportation
Noël Perry is the rare economist to specialize in freight transportation. Starting on a loading dock in 1968, he followed his life’s interest in senior research positions at Cummins Engine, CSX and Schneider National. Noël has been in private practice since 2008, working with clients in four modes and the shipper community. Frequently quoted in the national logistics media and heard widely on the speaking circuit, he is also serves as economist to Truckstop.com and the Transportation Intermediaries Association. His blog, available on the Transport Futures website, covers the gamut of transport issues as they happen.
Noël holds degrees from the University Of Pennsylvania and Harvard University (Honors) and navigated USAF KC-135’s during the Vietnam war. He and his wife Ginny live in the historic iron mining village of Cornwall, PA. In his spare time, Noël is a gardener, singer, golfer, WWII historian and is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research.

Adrian Gonzalez is trusted advisor and leading industry analyst with more than 20 years of research experience in transportation management, logistics outsourcing, and other supply chain and logistics topics. He is the founder and president of Adelante SCM, a peer-to-peer learning, networking, and research community for supply chain and logistics professionals. Adelante’s services include Talking Logistics, an online video talk show and blog featuring thought leaders and newsmakers in the supply chain and logistics industry, and Indago, a market research service that brings together a community of supply chain and logistics practitioners who share practical knowledge and advice with each other while giving back to charitable causes.
Prior to his current roles, Adrian held various leadership positions at ARC Advisory Group, Motorola, Polaroid, and Clare. Adrian speaks frequently at industry events and conferences and is regularly quoted in industry publications. He is also a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and a LinkedIn Influencer with more than 248,000 followers.
Adrian has a B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management from Northeastern University, where he has served as an adjunct instructor in their Executive MBA program.
